Terms of service

Last updated

These terms govern the use of LazyTickets: the Discord bot, the panel (app.lazytickets.io) and this website. By adding the bot to a server, signing in to the panel or buying a plan, you accept them.

1. Who provides the service

Who runs LazyTickets — full legal name, tax number and postal address — will be published here before any paid plan can be bought. Until then, for anything about these documents or your data, write to hola@lazytickets.io.

2. The service

LazyTickets is a ticket bot for Discord, configured from a web panel. The bot is free. Some features are paid:

  • Premium, monthly, yearly or a one-off payment (lifetime), which unlocks the ticket system's advanced features on a server.
  • Add-ons on top of a plan, such as the AI or custom branding.
  • AI credits, in packs, to use beyond what the AI add-on includes.

Every purchase belongs to one server. The features and prices that apply are the ones shown on the website and in the panel at the time of purchase.

Because the bot runs inside Discord, using it also means following Discord's terms and rules.

3. Age and account

You must be 16 or over to use the panel. To buy, you must be an adult or have your parent's or guardian's permission.

You sign in with your Discord account and are responsible for what is done with it. You may only set LazyTickets up on servers where you have the authority to do so, and you are responsible for who you give panel access to.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use LazyTickets to:

  • Post or store content that is illegal or infringes other people's rights.
  • Harass, send spam, or collect members' data for anything other than the server's support.
  • Get around your plan's limits, access other servers' data, or interfere with the service.
  • Break Discord's terms.

5. Your content

What you and your server's members write or upload (tickets, transcripts, documentation) stays yours. You allow us to store and process it only as far as needed to provide the service, as the privacy policy explains.

If you run a server, you are responsible for having the right to use the documentation you connect, and for telling your members that their tickets are stored and, if you turn the AI on, that the AI processes them.

6. The AI

The AI answers from the documentation you give it, but it can be wrong. It is a help, not a replacement for your staff: check what it answers, especially at first, and do not use it for decisions with serious consequences for a person. It stops as soon as a staff member claims the ticket, and you can turn it off at any time.

Every answer uses credits. The AI add-on's credits are topped up each month and do not roll over; credits you buy separately do not expire while the service exists. Credits have no cash value and cannot be moved to another server.

7. Prices, payment and renewals

  • Payments are processed through Stripe. Prices are in euros, and before you pay you see the total with any taxes that apply.
  • Subscriptions (monthly, yearly and add-ons) renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel from the panel at any time; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Launch discounts apply to the first period only; after that, the subscription renews at the regular price shown when you buy.
  • The lifetime plan is paid once and lasts for as long as LazyTickets provides the service. It is not a promise to run it forever.
  • If we change a subscription's price, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance, and the new price applies from the next renewal. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then.

8. Refunds

You can ask for a full refund of any purchase within 14 days of the payment date by writing to hola@lazytickets.io. This covers a plan's first purchase and each renewal.

The exception is AI credits already used: if you have spent part of a pack, we refund the part you have not used.

After those 14 days there are no refunds, except where the law gives you that right or in the cases set out in section 10.

9. Availability

We work to keep LazyTickets available at all times, but cannot guarantee it: there may be maintenance, failures, or outages at Discord or at our providers. We may change or remove features to improve the service; if we remove a significant paid feature, we will tell you in advance.

10. Suspension and end of the service

You can stop using LazyTickets whenever you like by removing the bot from your server and cancelling your subscriptions.

We may suspend or close access for an account or a server that breaks these terms. Except in serious cases or where the law requires otherwise, we will warn you first and explain why.

If we decide to shut LazyTickets down, we will announce it at least 30 days in advance and refund the unused part of subscriptions paid in advance.

11. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care, but as it is. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or data loss we could not have foreseen, or for what Discord or your server's members do.

As far as the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid in the 12 months before the event that gives rise to it. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights under consumer law.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection your country of residence's law gives you, and can go to the courts where you live.

13. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will announce it before it takes effect; continuing to use LazyTickets afterwards means accepting it.
